λ-Statistical convergence of order α

Acta Mathematica Scientia, 2011
Abstract In this paper, we introduce the concept of λ-statistical convergence of order α. Also some relations between the λ-statistical convergence of order α and strong ( V , λ)-summability of order α are given.

A Note on Q-order of Convergence

BIT Numerical Mathematics, 2001
By means of a slight weakening of the concept of \(Q\)-order of convergence, see for example \textit{J. M. Ortega} and \textit{W. C. Rheinboldt} [Iterative solution of nonlinear equations in several variables (2000; Zbl 0949.65053)], the author introduces and studies the notions of \(Q\)-superorder and \(Q\)-suborder of convergence of a sequence in a ...

Convergence of Solutions of Third Order Differential Equations*

Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1969
Consider a system of differential equations . Solutions of this system are said to be convergent if, given any pair of solutions x(t), y(t), x(t) - y(t) → 0 as t → ∞. In this case the system is also said to be extremely stable. In [6] a technique was developed which yielded the convergence of solutions of the forced Lienard equation.

Double lacunary statistical convergence of order ?

2020
The purpose of this paper is to study lacunary double statistical convergence of order ?. Furthermore some inclusion relations have been examined. We also introduce a new sequence space by combining Orlicz function and lacunary double statistical convergence. © 2015 Allahabad Mathematical Society.

Convergence Completion of Partially Ordered Groups

1988
As is well known, the (MacNeille, [7]) conditional completion by nonvoid cuts of a partially ordered group (which is the unique conditionally complete lattice each element of which is a join and a meet of the group’s elements) cannot in general (in fact whenever the group fails to be “Archimedean”) be made into a partially ordered group.
