A fuzzy multicriteria method for ranking the factors that influence the settlement of Brazilian highway speed limits

open access: yesTransportes, 2020
The process of settling highways speed limits involves a high number of factors, not clearly defined in terms of an order of relevance that allows the expert – responsible for making the decision – choose the best solution.

Optical Signature of Moiré Superlattices Formed by Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We discover optical signatures from bonded interfaces in twisted SrTiO3 moiré superlattices, including low‐frequency Raman vibrational modes and strong second‐harmonic generation, consistent with strong interlayer coupling inferred from cross‐sectional electron microscopy and ab initio calculations. ABSTRACT Moiré superlattices formed at the interfaces

A multiple attribute group decision making model based on 2-tuple linguistic pythagorean fuzzy dombi aggregation operators for optimal selection of potential global suppliers

open access: yesHeliyon
Multiple-Attribute Group Decision-Making (MAGDM) is a significant area of research in decision-making, and its principles and methodologies are widely implemented. A Pythagorean Fuzzy Set (PFS) is an extension of an Intuitionistic Fuzzy Set (IFS) that is

Three‐Dimensional Biomimetic Aerogel Conduits with Electro‐Ionic‐Immune Coupling Reverse the Pathological Cascade of Spinal Cord Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A biomimetic aerogel conduit was engineered from a nanofiber of gelatin/poly(l‐lactic acid) doped with polypyrrole nanoparticles, integrated with tannic acid and Mg2+. This “electro‐ionic‐immune” strategy mimicked spinal cord properties, reduced calcium overload, inflammation, oxidative damage, promoted neural stem cell differentiation, suppressed ...

Polarization Sensitivity of Chiral Manganese Halide Scintillators Enables High‐Resolution X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Highly luminescent chiral manganese halide crystals are synthesized using chiral ligands, and they exhibit dissymmetry factors up to 1.4 × 10−2 and show X‐ray detection scintillation capability with a light yield of 43 380 photons/MeV and a low detection limit of 0.05198 µGyair·s−1.
