Recent Zeolite Modifications in Bifunctional Catalysts for Carbon Dioxide Hydrogenation to Aromatics: A Minireview†

open access: yesChinese Journal of Chemistry, EarlyView.
Thermocatalytic hydrogenation of CO2 to aromatic hydrocarbons represents a sustainable route for high‐value CO2 utilization. Bifunctional catalysts combining metal/metal oxide components with acidic zeolites enable the direct synthesis of BTX aromatics.

NaAlH4 confined in ordered mesoporous carbon

open access: yesInternational Journal of Hydrogen Energy, 2013
Abstract In this paper we performed a comprehensive investigation of the structural and sorption properties of a 40 wt. % NaAlH4 confined in a ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC, i.e. CMK-3) by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), 23Na{1H} and 27Al{1H} solid-state magic angle spinning-nuclear magnetic resonance (MAS ...

Ordered mesoporous carbon particles covered with carbon nanotubes

open access: yesCarbon, 2006
The preparation of carbon nanostructure, namely ordered mesoporous carbon (OMC) covered with carbon nanotubes (CNT) was described. The CNTs on the external surface of the OMC were found to form an interconnected network, which facilitates electron transport between the OMC particles. It was shown that the presence of CNTs on the external surface of OMC

Electrochemical capacitance of self-ordered mesoporous carbon

Journal of Power Sources, 2003
Abstract The capacitance properties of the self-ordered mesoporous carbons (CMK-3), from a template of hexagonal self-ordered mesoporous SiO 2 (SBA15) using sucrose as the carbon source, have been investigated. The pore distribution was narrow with a diameter of 3.90 nm and a surface area of 900 m 2 /g.

Morphological control of highly ordered mesoporous carbon

open access: yes, 2003
Highly ordered mesoporous carbon materials with fiber-like, plate-like, rod-like and donut-like morphologies have been synthesized by using mesoporous silica as the templates.
