Aminated hydrophilic ordered mesoporous carbons
Journal of Materials Chemistry, 2007This paper describes a single step procedure by which primary amine groups are anchored onto ordered mesoporous carbon in a one step reaction. Ordered carbon materials with functional groups residing at the pore surface are prepared using SBA-15 silica as template in combination with hydrothermal carbonisation at mild temperatures (180 °C).

Ordered mesoporous carbon catalyst for dehydrogenation of propane to propylene
Chemical Communications, 2011Metal-free ordered mesoporous carbons were demonstrated to be robust catalysts for direct dehydrogenation of propane to propylene, in the absence of any auxiliary steam, exhibiting high activity and selectivity, as well as long catalytic stability, in comparison with nanostructured carbons.

Using the measured EM parameters we calculate the EM wave absorption properties of a double-layer absorber, which is composed of OMC as an absorbing layer and M-doped OMC as the matching layer.

Preparation of Activated Ordered Mesoporous Carbons with a Channel Structure
Langmuir, 2008Activated ordered mesoporous carbons with a channel structure (AOMCs-CS) were successfully prepared by imposing CO(2) activation on ordered mesopore carbon C-FDU-15. It is found that the continuous carbon framework of the precursor C-FDU-15 plays an important role in keeping the order structure of the resulting AOMCs-CS.

Efficient synthesis and sulfonation of ordered mesoporous carbon materials
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2012Ordered mesoporous carbons (OMCs) with hexagonal structure were efficiently synthesized via cooperative self-assembly of phenol/formaldehyde resol and surfactant F127 under acidic aqueous conditions. Induced by HCl, a gel phase mainly containing phenol/formaldehyde resol and F127 was obtained within several hours.
