MATRIX DUALITY FOR MATRIX ORDERED SPACES [PDF]

open access: yes
application/pdfIn this paper, we study matricially Riesz normed spaces, approximate matrix order unit spaces, matrix order unit spaces and matrix base normed spaces and develop the duality theory for these spaces generalising the duality theory of Davies,

Spin‐Split Edge States in Metal‐Supported Graphene Nanoislands Obtained by CVD

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Combining STM measurements and ab‐initio calculations, we show that zig‐zag edges in graphene nanoislands grown on Ni(111) by CVD retrieve their spin‐polarized edge states after intercalation of a few monolayers of Au. ABSTRACT Spin‐split states localized on zigzag edges have been predicted for different free‐standing graphene nanostructures.

Isometric Representations of Calibrated Ordered Spaces on C(X)

open access: yes
The problem of characterizing normed ordered spaces which admit a representation in the algebraic, order and norm sense as a subspace of $C(X)$, the space of all continuous functions on a compact Hausdorff space is a classical problem that has been ...

COFs on MOFs: Layer‐by‐Layer Synthesis of MOF@COF Nanoparticles with Synergistic Adsorption

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A layer‐by‐layer strategy enables the growth of crystalline covalent organic framework (COF) shells on metal–organic framework nanoparticles, creating core–shell structures with tunable porosity. Ordered interstitial mesopores are formed during shell growth, which are connected with the COF's intrinsic micropores, thereby enhancing water sorption. This

Convexity in quasi-metric spaces

open access: yes, 2012
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references. The principal aim of this thesis is to investigate the existence of an injective hull in the categories of T-quasi-metric spaces and of T-ultra-quasi-metric spaces with nonexpansive ...

One‐Dimensional Materials Supported in Two‐Dimensional Van der Waals Metal–Organic Frameworks with Optical Anisotropy Switching via Twist‐Engineering

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

Ordered normed spaces of functions of bounded variation

open access: yes, 2023
In this paper, we define and study the space of all the functions of bounded variation $f:[x,y]\to \mathbb{Y}$ denoted by $\mathcal{BV}[x,y],$ where $[x,y]$ is an ordered interval and $\mathbb{Y}$ is an absolute order unit space having vector lattice structure. By default, under the order structure of $\mathbb{Y},$ the space $\mathcal{BV}[x,y]$ forms a

Chiral Microneedle Arrays With Terahertz Chiroptical Activity With Chiral‐Plasmon‐Chiral‐Phonon Resonance

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Microneedle arrays (MNAs) is a rapidly emerging technology with broad biomedical applications in drug delivery and biosensing. With sub‐millimeter dimensions and periodicity, MNAs possess geometries nearly ideal for biomedical devices operating within the terahertz (THz) spectral window.

All‐Optical Reconfigurable Physical Unclonable Function for Sustainable Security

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐optical reconfigurable physical unclonable function (PUF) is demonstrated using plasmonic coupling–induced sintering of optically trapped gold nanoparticles, where Brownian motion serves as a robust entropy source. The resulting optical PUF exhibits high encoding density, strong resistance to modeling attacks, and practical authentication ...
