Formalism and Interpretation in Quantum Theory [PDF]
Quantum Mechanics can be viewed as a linear dynamical theory having a familiar mathematical framework but a mysterious probabilistic interpretation, or as a probabilistic theory having a familiar interpretation but a mysterious formal framework.

The Aleksandrov problem on non-Archimedean normed space
Let X and Y be non-Archimedean normed spaces over a linear ordered non-Archimedean field K with a non-Archimedean valuation. A mapping f : X→Y preserves distance n if for all x, y∈X with ∥x−y∥=n it follows that ∥f(x)−f(y)∥=n and conversely. In this paper

This study presents a compact dynamic‐field‐driven nucleation and growth (DFNG) model that captures ferroelectric switching behavior under arbitrary voltage waveforms. It enables extraction of time‐dependent domain wall velocity and growth dimensionality, which can then be extended to device‐level modeling.

An extension of the dual complexity space and an application to Computer Science
In 1999, Romaguera and Schellekens introduced the theory of dual complexity spaces as a part of the development of a mathematical (topological) foundation for the complexity analysis of programs and algorithms [S. Romaguera, M.P.

Large Faraday rotation at room temperature is observed in thin films of discotic copper (Cu2+: 3d9) and vanadyl (VO2+: 3d1) enaminoketone complexes. The large Verdet constant originates from a high density of paramagnetic centers, metal‐ligand p−d hybridization and π orbitals involved in optical transitions (identified by DFT calculations), as well as ...

Ordered Banach spaces : annotation to the B.S. graduation work
The aim of the thesis was to study various properties of cones in ordered vector, normed and Banach spaces, and to reveal regularities that appear only in Banach spaces.

The present book on fixed points focusses on applications to integral equations and to nonlinear eigenvalue problems. Since the main context is functional analytic, the authors devoted the first chapter of the book, Basic concepts, to the presentation of

Stable Imitation of Multigait and Bipedal Motions for Quadrupedal Robots Over Uneven Terrains
How are quadrupedal robots empowered to execute complex navigation tasks, including multigait and bipedal motions? Challenges in stability and real‐world adaptation persist, especially with uneven terrains and disturbances. This article presents an imitation learning framework that enhances adaptability and robustness by incorporating long short‐term ...

Supporting weakly Pareto optimal allocations in infinite dimensional nonconvex economies [PDF]
In this paper, we prove a new version of the Second Welfare Theorem for economies with a finite number of agents and an infinite number of commodities, when the preference correspondences are not convex-valued and/or when the total production set is not ...
