Robust Spot Melting by 3D Spot Arrangements in Electron Beam Powder Bed Fusion
This work proposes an approach to replace separately melted contours for spot melting in electron beam powder fusion. Adapting the spot arrangements close to the contour combined with stacking yields a comparable surface quality without the inherent challenges of separate contours, as demonstrated, by electron optical images and roughness measurements.

Going down in (semi)lattices of finite Moore families and convex geometries [PDF]
In this paper we first study the changes occuring in the posets of irreducible elements when one goes from an arbitrary Moore family (respectively, a convex geometry) to one of its lower covers in the lattice of all Moore families (respectively, in the ...

The pagenumber of ordered sets.
The main result is this The pagenumber of a series-parallel planar ordered set is at most two. We present an $O(n\sp3)$ algorithm to construct a two-page embedding in the case that it is a lattice, where n is the number of the elements of the lattice ...

Lattices of Smarandache Groupoid [PDF]
Smarandache groupoid is not partly ordered under Smarandache inclusion relation but it contains some partly ordered sets, which are lattices under Smarandache union and intersection.

Lattice Cohomology of Partially Ordered Sets
In this paper we introduce a construction for a weighted CW complex (and the associated lattice cohomology) corresponding to partially ordered sets with some additional structure. This is a generalization of the construction seen in [4] where we started from a system of subspaces of a given vector space.

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

Linear and non-linear price decentralization [PDF]
Compendious and thorough solutions to the existence of a linear price equilibrium problem, the second welfare theorem, and the limit theorem on the core are provided for exchange economies whose consomption sets are the positive cone of arbitrary ordered

Correlation in partially ordered sets
Correlation in partially ordered sets is a very active research area. In this paper we review basic results for correlation within ordered sets that focus on distributive lattices, systems of subsets ordered by proper inclusion, and the family of linear ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.
