Euclidean Distance-Based Tree Algorithm for Fault Detection and Diagnosis in Photovoltaic Systems
In this paper, a new methodology for fault detection and diagnosis in photovoltaic systems is proposed. This method employs a novel Euclidean distance-based tree algorithm to classify various considered faults.

Karl Popper and the Mechanisms of Hydrogen Embrittlement
Representation of the beginning of loss of ductility rather than embrittlement. Small concentrations of hydrogen in a diffusible form within iron are well‐established to harm the mechanical integrity of steels. There are theories that attempt to explain the pernicious role of hydrogen.

Equilibria in reflexive Banach lattices with a continuum of agents. [PDF]
We consider exchange economies with a measure space of agents and for which the commodity space is a separable and reflexive Banach lattice. Under assumptions imposing uniform bounds on marginal rates of substitution, positive results on core-Walras ...

Seminorms on ordered vector spaces that extend to Riesz seminorms on larger Riesz spaces
As a generalization of the notion of Riesz seminorm, a class of seminorms on directed partially ordered vector spaces is introduced, such that (1) every seminorm in the class can be extended to a Riesz seminorm on every larger Riesz space that is ...

Fostering Innovation: Streamlining Magnetocaloric Materials Research by Digitalization
Magnetocaloric cooling (MCE) is an environmentally friendly refrigeration method with great potential. Optimizing MCE materials involves the preparation and screening of large quantities of samples, which in turn generates a large amount of data. A digitalization approach is presented that uses ontologies, knowledge graphs, and digital workflows to ...

SMARANDACHE NON-ASSOCIATIVE RINGS [PDF]
An associative ring is just realized or built using reals or complex; finite or infinite by defining two binary operations on it. But on the contrary when we want to define or study or even introduce a non-associative ring we need two separate algebraic ...

We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Suprema in ordered vector spaces: a constructive approach
Ordered vector spaces are examined from the point of view of Bishop’s constructive mathematics, which can be viewed as the constructive core of mathematics.

The temperature dependence of fatigue behavior in nickel‐based superalloys is investigated through high‐resolution measurements of plastic localization. While increasing temperature reduces localization and enhances fatigue performance in René 88DT, Inconel 718 exhibits a sharp degradation at intermediate temperature due to intensified slip ...

In this study, an alternative theorem for the subconvexlike mapping in topological vector space is established. With this alternative theorem as an aid, the generalized Fritz John conditions and the generalized Kuhn–Tucker conditions in terms of Gâteaux ...
