Generalized Linguistic Ordered Weighted Logarithm Averaging Operators
2012 International Conference on Computer Science and Service System, 2012Motivated by the optimal solution of a deviation model proposed in this paper, we develop the generalized linguistic weighted logarithm averaging (GLWLA) operator and the generalized linguistic ordered weighted logarithm averaging (GLOWLA) operator in the group decision making under the linguistic surrounding, which are obtained by constructing the ...

Ordered Weighted Averaging Operators: A Short Review
IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Magazine, 2021Aggregation is the process of combining several numerical values into a single representative one, a procedure called an aggregation function . Despite the simplicity of this definition, the size of the field of its applications is incredibly huge. Making decisions (in also artificial intelligence) often leads to aggregating preferences or scores on ...

Concerning ordered weighted averaging aggregation operators
Statistical Papers, 1991In a recent paper Yager (1988) introduced a special type of aggregation operators which he called OWA-operators and applied it to multicriteria decisionmaking. In our paper we give a more general definition of such operators and investigate in some detail the structural properties of them.

Ordered Weighted Averaging Aggregation on Convex Poset
IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, 2019Ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators, a family of aggregation functions, are widely used in human decision-making schemes to aggregate data inputs of a decision maker's choosing through a process known as OWA aggregation. The weight allocation mechanism of OWA aggregation employs the principle of linear ordering to order data inputs after the ...

Similarity classifier with ordered weighted averaging operators
Expert Systems with Applications, 2013In this article we extend the similarity classifier to cover also ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operators. Earlier, similarity classifier was mainly used with generalized mean operator, but in this article we extend this aggregation process to cover more general OWA operators.

The Unbalanced Linguistic Ordered Weighted Averaging operator
International Conference on Fuzzy Systems, 2010Aggregation operators for linguistic variables usually assume a uniform and symmetrical distribution of the linguistic terms that define the variable. A well-known aggregation operator is the Linguistic Ordered Weighted Average (LOWA), which has been extensively applied.

The ordered weighted average corporate social responsibility
Kybernetes, 2019PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to identify new formulations for evaluating corporate social responsibility using different aggregation information operators.Design/methodology/approachThe ordered weighted average (OWA) operator and its extensions, the induced OWA (IOWA) and prioritized OWA (POWA) operators are used to generate a new score for a ...

Vowel Recognition Supported by Ordered Weighted Average
2015Ordered Weighted Average is a class of aggregators that generalize the concepts of median, minimum and maximum. An important feature of these aggregators is that they can be readily implemented in hardware. In our work we study whether these aggregators can be advantageously used to aggregate decisions by the group of experts.
