Induced ordered weighted averaging operators

IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics, Part B (Cybernetics), 1999
We briefly describe the Ordered Weighted Averaging (OWA) operator and discuss a methodology for learning the associated weighting vector from observational data. We then introduce a more general type of OWA operator called the Induced Ordered Weighted Averaging (IOWA) Operator.

Complex fuzzy ordered weighted quadratic averaging operators

Granular Computing, 2020
A complex fuzzy set, the generalization of fuzzy set provides a powerful mathematical framework whose membership degrees are in the form of complex numbers in the unit disc. The averaging operators consisting of the properties of both t-norm and t-conorm are of great importance in complex fuzzy environment.

Least-squared ordered weighted averaging operator weights

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2007
The ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator by Yager (IEEE Trans Syst Man Cybern 1988; 18; 183–190) has received much more attention since its appearance. One key point in the OWA operator is to determine its associated weights. Among numerous methods that have appeared in the literature, we notice the maximum entropy OWA (MEOWA) weights that are ...

Density-induced ordered weighted averaging operators

International Journal of Intelligent Systems, 2011
We provide a special type of induced ordered weighted averaging (OWA) operator called density-induced OWA (DIOWA) operator, which takes the density around the arguments as the inducing variables to reorder the arguments. The density around the argument, which can measure the degree of similarity between the argument and its nearest neighbors, is ...
