Ore Extensions of Ore Domains

Communications in Algebra, 2014
Let R be a right Ore domain and φ a derivation or an automorphism of R. We determine the right Martindale quotient ring of the Ore extension R[t; φ] (Theorem 1.1). As an attempt to generalize both the Weyl algebra and the quantum plane, we apply this to rings R such that k[x] ⊆ R ⊆ k(x), where k is a field and x is a commuting variable.

Distribution of ore pressure in an ore carrier

International Shipbuilding Progress, 1977
A numerical simulation procedure is developed for determining stress distributions in the ore field of an ore carrier in a loading condition. Elasto-plastic stress analysis of the ore field is carried out on the basis of the elasto-plastic constitutive equation proposed by the present authors and the yield criterion of Drucker and Prager. The ore field

THE STRUCTURES OF THE ORE DISTRICTS, ORE FIELDS AND ORE DEPOSITS OF THE RUDNYY ALTAY

International Geology Review, 1962
Polymetallic and pyritic-polymetallic ores of the Rudnyy Altay and its intersection with the Gornyy Altay are analyzed as to structure and classified as to ore districts, ore fields and ore deposits. In relating these categories to their containing structures, the author finds that ore districts are associated with long-developing tectonic zones, ore ...

Decomposition of ores by manganese dioxide: Analysis of chrome ore

Talanta, 1981
Pure manganese dioxide, prepared synthetically, has been used for the oxidative decomposition of chrome ores. The usual constituents of the ores, viz. Cr(2)O(3) FeO, Al(2)O(3), MgO, CaO and SiO(2) have been estimated and the results compare favourably with those obtained by standard methods.
