Double Ore Extensions Versus Iterated Ore Extensions [PDF]

Motivated by the construction of new examples of Artin-Schelter regular algebras of global dimension four, J.J. Zhang and J. Zhang (2008) introduced an algebra extension $A_P[y_1,y_2;σ,δ,τ]$ of $A$, which they called a double Ore extension. This construction seems to be similar to that of a two-step iterated Ore extension over $A$.

ABCABC Stacking‐Enabled Non‐Centrosymmetry 3R‐ZnIn2S4 Nanosheets for Piezocatalytic Uranium Extraction

The ABCABC stacking sequence in 2D ZnIn2S4 nanosheets creates intrinsic non‐centrosymmetry, enabling robust piezocatalysis under weak mechanical agitation. The nanosheets achieve a H2O2 yield of 276.7 µmol g−1 h−1 and uranium extraction capacity of 763.2 mg g−1 via a dual mechanism of direct piezoreduction and in situ H2O2 complexation.

Lung cancer is often diagnosed too late, and current screening overlooks many people at risk. In a long‐term study of smokers, a panel of small non‐coding RNAs carried in blood exosomes signals elevated lung cancer risk up to ten years before diagnosis, pointing toward a blood‐based tool for earlier risk detection.
