Microbubble‐Controlled Delivery of Biofilm‐Targeting Nanoparticles to Treat MRSA Infection
Here, an effective strategy using microbubble (MB)‐controlled delivery of biofilm‐targeting nanoparticles (BTNs) for removal and therapy of methicillin‐resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) biofilm infections is introduced. In vivo delivery of MB with BTN is demonstrated to silence key bacterial genes involved in biofilm formation (icaA), bacterial ...

Spinal cord injury (SCI) poses significant challenges for regeneration due to a series of secondary injury mechanisms. How to use biomaterial approach to target the failed regeneration after SCI remains a critical challenge. This review systematically evaluates current strategies to optimize biomaterial topographies for neurite outgrowth, axonal ...

Protective Effects of Ischemic Preconditioning Protocols on Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury in Rat Liver
Background: Hepatic ischemia reperfusion injury often leads to increased complications and mortality after surgery. Although ischemic preconditioning is used as a convenient and effective method to protect the liver from warm ischemia reperfusion injury,

Immunosuppression in Organ Transplantation
The immunological barrier remains the major obstacle to the widespread use of transplantation as a replacement therapy for terminal organ failure. Since the first successful renal transplant, performed by Hume et al. (1952), there has been an elusive search for agents that can render the immune mechanism unresponsive to the specific alloantigen ...

Most in vitro cancer models lack cellular diversity, functional complexity, and clinical relevance. This work highlights the generation of an innovative dynamic tetraculture with autologous patient‐derived cells within a vascularized tumor‐on‐chip, as well as the recapitulation of endothelial anergy features induced by the tumor microenvironment ...

BX‐001N, a polyethylene glycol‐conjugated bilirubin 3α nanoparticle, is the first GMP‐grade, synthetic bilirubin‐based nanomedicine. It effectively attenuates acute renal injury, facilitates subacute renal recovery, and suppresses chronic fibrosis after renal ischemia/reperfusion injury via anti‐oxidant and immune‐modulating activity.
