Organic-inorganic nanocomposites for gas sensing

2016 International Conference Radio Electronics & Info Communications (UkrMiCo), 2016
Sensor elements based on composite films of poly-3, 4-ethylenedioxythiophene combined with nanocrystals of porous silicon and zinc oxide were created. Increasing of nanocomposite electrical resistance due to adsorption of ammonia and ethanol molecules was registered.

Organic–inorganic perovskites for magnetic nanocomposites

Physica B: Condensed Matter, 2002
Abstract Two-dimensional perovskite compounds of the (CnH2n+1NH3)2MnCl4 (n=2, 9) type have been synthesised by a solid-state chemistry route in order to act as the building blocks for organic–inorganic magnetic nanocomposite materials. Depending on the amine chain length, the corresponding interlayer lattice expansion was probed by powder X-ray ...

Biomimetic organic–inorganic nanocomposite coatings for titanium implants

Journal of Biomedical Materials Research Part A, 2008
AbstractA new class of organic–inorganic nanocomposites, to be used as coatings for surface enhancement of metal implants for bone replacement and repair, has been prepared by a biomimetic three‐step procedure: (1) embedding amorphous calcium phosphate (ACP) particles between organic polyelectrolyte multilayers (PE MLs), (2)in situtransformation of ACP

Electrosynthesis of organic–inorganic nanocomposites

Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 2007
Abstract Composite films containing nanoparticles of oxides/hydroxides of Al, Y and Zr in a polyethylenimine (PEI) matrix were prepared by novel electrochemical method based on cathodic electrosynthesis of inorganic nanoparticles and cataphoretic deposition of PEI.

Organic/inorganic nanocomposite polymer electrolyte

Chinese Chemical Letters, 2007
The organic/inorganic nanocomposites polymer electrolytes were designed and synthesized. The organic/inorganic nanocomposites membrane materials and their lithium salt complexes have been found thermally stable below 200 degrees C. The conductivity of the organic/inorganic nanocomposites polymer electrolytes prepared at room temperature was at ...

Polypyrrole/polyphosphate organic–inorganic nanocomposites

Journal of Non-Crystalline Solids, 2005
Abstract Polypyrrole/polyphosphate organic–inorganic nanocomposites were synthesized by a single-step synthesis in which the inorganic host network develops initially from a sol–gel transition and provide a restricted environment for pyrrole polymerization. The organic polymer forms, entrapped within the polyphosphate gel.

Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposites and Their Applications

2014
The synthesis, the optical and electrophysical properties, and the morphology of thin films of nanocomposites based on electroactive polymers and inorganic nanofillers (metals, semiconductors, nanocarbons) are considered and analysed. Special attention is paid to polymer-graphene nanocomposites. Common and specific properties of such nanocomposites are

Photochromic Organic-Inorganic Nanocomposites as Holographic Storage Media

Advanced Materials for Optics and Electronics, 1997
This paper describes the properties of some new organic-inorganic photochromic layers. They are based on a hybrid organic-inorganic matrix in which tungsten heteropolyoxometallates (SiW12O404-, PW12O403-) are entrapped in a network obtained from the reaction of 3-glycidoxy-propyltrimethoxysilane. The high homogeneity of these materials on the nanoscale

Electrophoretic deposition of organic–inorganic nanocomposites

Journal of Materials Science, 2006
The focus of this review is on a new class of nanocomposites containing inorganic nanoparticles in a polyelectrolyte matrix. The recent advances in the application of electrophoretic deposition for the fabrication of the nanocomposite films are reviewed.
