ORGANIC COMPOUNDS IN METEORITES
1980Recent studies of carbonaceous chondrites provide evidence that certain organic compounds are indigenous and the result of an abiotic, chemical synthesis. The results of several investigators have established the presence of amino acids and precursors, mono- and dicarboxylic acids, N-heterocycles, and hydrocarbons as well as other compounds.

Organic Vanadium Compounds - Transition State Analogy with Organic Phosphorus Compounds
Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1996Abstract Vanadium compounds, particularly in oxidation state V, are potent inhibitors of phosphoryl group transfer enzymes. In this paper the existance of a correlation between the coordination geometry of a series of vanadium dipicolinate complexes and their potency as inhibitors for chicken intestinal alkaline phosphatase is examined.

Photocrystallization observed in organic compounds
Applied Optics, 2001Consideration is given to the action of azo-dye temperature on Weigert's effect. Azo-dye-colored gelatin emulsions, on heating, have been found to show an increase both in the anisotropy photoinduction rate and in the magnitude of saturation anisotropy.
