Autonomous High‐Throughput Characterization of Liquid‐Liquid Phase Behavior

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study introduces an automated dual modality platform, combining asymmetric capacitance deviation and multiangle turbidimetry, for high‐throughput characterization of liquid‐liquid phase behavior across chemically diverse fluid systems. The platform enables miscibility classification, resolution of phase separation kinetics and emulsion stability ...

Efficient Polaron Recombination and Fast Energy Transfer in a Deep Blue Phosphorescent Pt(II) Complex via Covalently Fused p‐Type Host

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Achieving high‐efficiency deep‐blue phosphorescent OLEDs is limited by intermolecular kinetic bottlenecks. We overcome this using a single‐molecule fused emitter architecture, Pt‐SP‐tCz, combining a p‐type host and Pt(II) dopant. This design enables zero‐radius intramolecular energy transfer (ZRIET) and a novel ZETPLEX mechanism.

Systematic Phosphorus‐Driven Structural and Field Engineering of n‐a‐Si:H for Flexible n‐a‐Si:H/Te Near‐Infrared Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Our research elucidates the systematic evolution of the microstructure and optoelectronic properties of n‐a‐Si:H governed by the phosphine dilution ratio. Optimally phosphorus‐doped n‐a‐Si:H is integrated with Te to form a flexible heterojunction, enabling high‐performance near‐infrared photodetectors.

Current Collector Engineering for New Efficient Bioresorbable Sodium‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A bioresorbable Na‐ion battery is proposed with Mo or Mg thin‐film current collectors for temporary implants. Mo‐based batteries exhibit superior electrochemical performance and stable cycling compared with Mg counterparts. XPS was used to investigate the Mo/Mg surface oxidation.

Nanoscale Optical Inhomogeneities From Compositional Segregation Within Individual GaN‐on‐Si Quantum Wells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work visualizes local variations in luminescence and relates them to nanoscale chemical inhomogeneities in single InxGa1−xN quantum wells. We demonstrate that the elemental segregation is only inherent to quantum wells with high indium content. Density functional theory shows this to be the result of strain‐induced phase stabilization, explaining ...

Solution‐Shearing of Highly Smooth Ion‐Gel Thin Films: Facilitating the Deposition of Organic Semiconductors for Ion‐Gated Organic Field Effect Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, Volume 11, Issue 6, May 2025.
A straightforward method is introduced to produce ion‐gel films with very low surface roughness by employing a solution‐shearing coating process. These ion‐gel films permit the growth of crystalline thin films of various small molecule organic semiconductor molecules directly on top of the ion‐gel layer, thereby enabling “inverted” small molecule ...
