Investigation of gate dielectric interface on contact resistance of short channel organic thin film transistors (OTFT). [PDF]

open access: yesPLoS One
This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the impact of the interfacial properties on the performance of organic thin-film transistors (OTFTs) with a hybrid dielectric of Al2O3/PVP compared to single-layer dielectrics of Al2O3 and PVP. The analyses were performed using the 2D Silvaco Atlas numerical simulator, which conducted a detailed numerical

Synthesis and Characterization of Benzodithiophene (BDT) Quinoid Compounds as a Potential Compound for n-Type Organic Thin-Film Transistors (OTFT)

open access: yesJurnal Kimia Sains dan Aplikasi, 2020
Two potential compounds as an n-Type organic thin-film transistor (OTFT) from benzodithiophene (BDT) derivatives have been synthesized and characterized. BDT was chosen as the core because it has π-conjugated bonds, rigid structures, and planar.

Towards flexible organic thin film transistors (OTFTs) for biosensing [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Materials Chemistry B, 2013
We have studied parylene-N and parylene-C for their use as substrates and gate dielectrics in OTFTs. Parylene-N films with a thickness of 300 nm show the required dielectric properties, as verified by breakthrough-voltage measurements. The surface roughness measured for 300 nm thick parylene-N films is 4-5 nm.
