Flexible organic integrated circuits free of parasitic capacitance fabricated through a simple dual self‐alignment method

open access: yesSmartMat
In integrated circuits (ICs), the parasitic capacitance is one of the crucial factors that degrade the circuit dynamic performance; for instance, it reduces the operating frequency of the circuit.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Determination of Thermal Activation Energy and Grain Size of Iron Hexadecachloro Phthalocyanine Thin Films [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2011
Electrical, structural and surface morphological properties of Iron hexadecachloro phthalocyanine thin films deposited onto glass substrates are studied as a function of post deposition annealing temperature in air. Organic semiconductors are extensively

Monolithic 3D‐Integrated All‐Solid Ion‐Gated Carbon Nanotube Transistors With Tunable Ionic Conductance for Multi‐Timescale Reservoir Computing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A dual‐timescale reservoir based on monolithically 3D (M3D)‐integrated CNT solid ion‐gated transistors is demonstrated. Tunable ionic dynamics and pulse‐engineered operation enable linear and symmetric synaptic updates. The M3D‐integrated array achieves robust temporal encoding and accurate classification of moving MNIST sequences, highlighting its ...

Conductive Hydrogels for Exogenous Sensing and Cell Fate Control

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We engineer electrically conductive hydrogels by combining sulfated glycosaminoglycans with semiconducting polymers. These hydrogels bind bioactive proteins, including growth factors, whose release or retention can be modulated by low‐voltage stimulation. The hydrogels are also integrated as 3D channels in organic electrochemical transistors as part of

A Current Supply with Single Organic Thin-Film Transistor for Charging Supercapacitors

open access: yes, 2016
We present a current supply, comprising a single organic thin-film transistor (OTFT), for the charging of supercapacitors. The current supply takes power from the electric grid (115 V AC, US standard), converts the AC voltage to a quasi-constant DC ...

Azobenzenes and dithiocarbamates in molecular film devices [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
The “top-down” approach to improve the performance of small electronic devices is becoming more and more challenging due to economic and engineering restrictions. Thus, researchers seek for alternatives towards efficient, smaller and faster devices. The “
