Enzymes and Their Forms Used in Detection of Organophosphorus Compounds
Еnzymes are able to effectively interact with various organophosphorus compounds (OPC), entering into (bio)chemical reactions with them. Changes in the initial activity of enzymes as a result of their inhibition by OPC, the formation of OPC degradation ...

ABSTRACT Outer membrane vesicles (OMVs) are nanosized vesicles naturally secreted by Gram‐negative bacteria and represent a promising platform for vaccine development. OMVs possess inherent immunostimulatory properties due to the presence of pathogen‐associated molecular patterns (PAMPs), providing self‐adjuvanting capabilities and the ability to ...

Thermotolerant class A acid phosphatase active across broad pH range and diverse substrates
Abstract M2‐32 is a non‐specific acid phosphatase with a rare ability to function across a broad pH range (3.5–8.5). Analysis using SWISS‐PROT Prf Profiles classifies it as a class A acid phosphatase (Z‐score: 78.97), sharing 50%–60% sequence similarity with enzymes such as PhoC and PhoN.

Identification and characterization of a novel phosphodiesterase from the metagenome of an Indian coalbed. [PDF]
Phosphoesterases are involved in the degradation of organophosphorus compounds. Although phosphomonoesterases and phosphotriesterases have been studied in detail, studies on phosphodiesterases are rather limited.

Strategies for the one-step immobilization–purification of enzymes as industrial biocatalysts [PDF]
In this review, we detail the efforts performed to couple the purification and the immobilization of industrial enzymes in a single step. The use of antibodies, the development of specific domains with affinity for some specific supports will be revised.
