Semantic Perception of Color Schemes Across Contrasting Semi‐Public Study Environments

open access: yesColor Research &Application, Volume 51, Issue 6, November/December 2026.
The study compares semantic ratings of café and library interiors across four color schemes. Lines show estimated mean scores for each scheme on five dimensions. Café interiors were rated higher for orderliness, stylistic modernity, and environmental openness; libraries were rated higher for calmness and spatiality.

Acyclic and Oriented Chromatic Numbers of Graphs

open access: yes, 1996
The oriented chromatic number Ø o ( ~ G) of an oriented graph ~ G = (V; A) is the minimum number of vertices in an oriented graph ~ H for which there exists a homomorphism of ~ G to ~ H.

Some Notes on La Faiseuse D'anges (A Fazedora De Anjos, 1908), by Pedro Weingärtner

open access: yesFuture Humanities, Volume 4, Issue 2, November 2026.
ABSTRACT Pedro Weingärtner's La Faiseuse d'Anges (A Fazedora de Anjos, 1908) stands as one of the most unsettling artefacts of Brazilian academic painting. Conceived in Rome but rooted in the Parisian fait divers of the ‘angel‐maker,’ it translates a sensational story of reproductive crime into a monumental moral tableau.

Tetracyclic π‐Extended Multi‐Resonant TADF Emitters for Green PSF‐OLEDs With 37.7% EQE and BT.2020‐Compatible Top‐Emitting Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 36, Issue 79, 1 October 2026.
Ultra‐narrow green multi‐resonance thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitters have been developed by linear π‐extension strategy using tetracyclic naphtho[2,3‐b]benzofuran unit. The resulting phosphorescence‐sensitized OLEDs achieve a maximum external quantum efficiency of 37.7% in the bottom‐emitting architecture, while the complementary top ...

Band‐Pass to Band‐Stop Switchable Color Filters Based on Birefringent Dielectric Metasurfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 10, October 2026.
Birefringent TiO2 metasurfaces enable a single nanostructure to operate as either a band‐pass or band‐stop color filter through simple rotation of an external polarizer. The all‐dielectric architecture combines high transmission efficiency with submicron pixel pitches, offering a compact and versatile approach to high‐resolution spectral filtering ...
