An End Degree for Digraphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In this paper we define a degree for ends of infinite digraphs. The well‐definedness of our definition in particular resolves a problem by Zuther. Furthermore, we extend our notion of end degree to also respect, among others, the vertices dominating the end, which we denote as combined end degree.

The Strong Nash‐Williams Orientation Theorem for Rayless Graphs

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT In 1960, Nash‐Williams proved his strong orientation theorem that every finite graph has an orientation in which the number of arc‐disjoint directed paths between any two vertices is at least half the number of undirected edge‐disjoint paths between them (rounded down).

Two‐Block Paths in Oriented Graphs of Large Semidegree

open access: yesJournal of Graph Theory, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We study the existence of oriented paths with two blocks in oriented graphs under semidegree conditions. A block of an oriented path is a maximal directed subpath. Given positive integers k $k$ and ℓ $\ell $ with k / 2 ≤ ℓ < k $k/2\le \ell \lt k$, we establish a semidegree function that guarantees the containment of every oriented path with ...

Artificial intelligence‐assisted nanozyme design for medical and environmental applications

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Medicine, EarlyView.
AI‐assisted nanozyme design integrates cross‐source data and machine learning to enable predictive structure‐activity relationships, accelerating intelligent diagnostics, precision therapeutics, and environmental surveillance. Abstract Nanozymes, a class of nanomaterials with intrinsic enzyme‐like catalytic activities, have emerged as promising ...
