Creep‐Induced Microstructural Evolution in an A2‐B2 Superalloy
A 27.3Ta‐27.3Mo‐27.3Ti‐8Cr‐10Al (at.%) refractory high‐entropy alloy with precipitation‐strengthened A2‐B2 microstructure was studied by creep tests at 1030°C, which demonstrate a transition in deformation mechanisms in the range of 100–150 MPa applied stress. This is associated with changes in dislocation–precipitate interactions. Relevant deformation

Dislocation cutting of γ′ precipitates in Ni‐based superalloys is investigated by linking atomistic simulations with discrete dislocation dynamics. The critical cutting stress is shown to be governed by the antiphase boundary energy, while line tension effects promote edge‐preferred cutting.

Experimental Characterization of Mycelium‐Based Composites Under Multiple Loading Conditions
This study examines the mechanical response of mycelium‐based composites under compression, shear, and tension using mechanical testing and imaging methods. The comparison between unpressed and hot‐pressed specimens shows that hot pressing is associated with higher compression and shear stiffnesses.

Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Deconvolution with Best [PDF]
In this paper, we proposed a method for simultaneous noise suppression and deconvolution. The signal estimation and denoising problem was converted into a problem of model selection by using minimum description length(MDL) criterion to choose the best ...

Fuglede`s conjecture fails in dimension 4 [PDF]
In this note we modify a recent example of Tao and give an example of a set Omega subset of R-4 such that L-2(Omega) admits an orthonormal basis of exponentials {1/vertical bar Omega vertical bar 1/2 e(2 pi i )}(xi epsilon Lambda) for some set Lambda ...

Object Tracking via 2DPCA and l2-Regularization
We present a fast and robust object tracking algorithm by using 2DPCA and l2-regularization in a Bayesian inference framework. Firstly, we model the challenging appearance of the tracked object using 2DPCA bases, which exploit the strength of subspace ...

Comparison of Triply Periodic Minimal Surface Energy Absorbers Under Uniaxial Compressive Loading
This study investigates LCD 3D printed Triply Periodic Minimal Surface (TPMS) structures as mechanical energy absorbers. By comparing various base designs and layered combinations under uniaxial compression, it identifies that a Diamond‐Gyroid sandwich structure offers superior performance.

Orthogonal bases and their application in signal processing [PDF]
This work is concentrates on finding basic properties of some orthogonal polynomials like a definition, weight function, orthogonality interval, recurrence relations, number of zeros and diferential eguations which they were suited on.

Orthonormal bases of extreme quantumness [PDF]
Spin anticoherent states acquired recently a lot of attention as the most "quantum" states. Some coherent and anticoherent spin states are known as optimal quantum rotosensors.
