The Calogero Model: Integrable Structure and Orthogonal Basis
Integrability, algebraic structures and orthogonal basis of the Calogero model are studied by the quantum Lax and Dunkl operator formulations. The commutator algebra among operators including conserved operators and creation-annihilation operators has the structure of the W-algebra.

Identification of nonlinear systems using generalized kernel models [PDF]
Nonlinear system identification is considered using a generalized kernel regression model. Unlike the standard kernel model, which employs a fixed common variance for all the kernel regressors, each kernel regressor in the generalized kernel model has an

Azaporphyrinoid‐Based Photo‐ and Electroactive Architectures for Advanced Functional Materials
A long‐standing collaboration between the Torres and Guldi groups has yielded diverse azaporphyrinoid‐based donor‐acceptor nanohybrids with promising applications in solar energy conversion. This conspectus highlights key molecular platforms and structure‐function relationships that govern light and charge management, supporting the rational design of ...

Drawing inspiration from the layered hard‐soft architecture found in sea sponges, this work establishes a new framework for architected cementitious composites (ACC) through multi‐material additive manufacturing (MMAM) process. The integration of mortar and elastomer phases into layered architectures enables synergistic toughening mechanisms, including

We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

The basis invariant flavor puzzle
The flavor puzzle of the Standard Model quark sector is formulated in a non-perturbative way, using basis invariants that are independent of the choice of quark field basis.

Robust identification for linear-in-the-parameters models [PDF]
In this paper new robust nonlinear model construction algorithms for a large class of linear-in-the-parameters models are introduced to enhance model robustness, including three algorithms using combined A- or D-optimality or PRESS statistic (Predicted ...

Kernel classifier construction using orthogonal forward selection and boosting with Fisher ratio class separability measure [PDF]
A greedy technique is proposed to construct parsimonious kernel classifiers using the orthogonal forward selection method and boosting based on Fisher ratio for class separability measure.

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.
