Soft matrix models and Chern-Simons partition functions
We study the properties of matrix models with soft confining potentials. Their precise mathematical characterization is that their weight function is not determined by its moments.

Orthogonal Gyrodecompositions of Real Inner Product Gyrogroups
In this article, we prove an orthogonal decomposition theorem for real inner product gyrogroups, which unify some well-known gyrogroups in the literature: Einstein, Möbius, Proper Velocity, and Chen’s gyrogroups.

Set Partition Modulation [PDF]
In this paper, a novel modulation scheme called set partition modulation (SPM) is proposed. In this scheme, set partitioning and ordered subsets in the set partitions are used to form codewords.

Low‐Symmetry Weyl Semimetals: A Path to Ideal Topological States
This study presents a theoretical framework for realizing ideal Weyl semimetals, where Weyl nodes are well‐isolated at the Fermi level. The approach is exemplified in the low‐symmetry material Cu2SnSe3, which exhibits tunable topological phases, current‐induced orbital magnetization, and a strong circular photogalvanic effect, making it a promising ...

A 3D bone scaffold with osteogenic properties and capable of hardening in vivo is developed. The scaffold is implanted in a ductile state, and a phase transformation of the ceramic induces the stiffening and strengthening of the scaffold in vivo. Abstract Calcium phosphate 3D printing has revolutionized customized bone grafting.

Reduced-Dimension Wiener Filter Based on Perpendicular Partition
This paper addresses the reduced-dimension Wiener filter based on perpendicular partition. Two algorithms, i.e., cyclic per-weight (CPW) and batch CPW (BCPW) are presented, which can efficiently perform reduced-dimension adaptive beamforming.

Spectral Universality of Real Chiral Random Matrix Ensembles
We investigate the universality of microscopic eigenvalue correlations for Random Matrix Theories with the global symmetries of the QCD partition function.

Dynamic allocation of orthogonal ribosomes facilitates uncoupling of co-expressed genes
Introduction of synthetic circuits into microbes creates competition between circuit and host genes for shared cellular resources, such as ribosomes. This can lead to the emergence of unwanted coupling between the expression of different circuit genes ...
