On Orthogonal Projections of Symplectic Balls
We study the orthogonal projections of symplectic balls in ℝ 2n on complex subspaces. In particular we show that these projections are themselves symplectic balls under a certain complexity assumption. Our main result is a refinement of a recent very interesting result of Abbondandolo and Matveyev extending the linear version of Gromov’s non-squeezing

Enhanced Subspace Dynamic Mode Decomposition for Operational Modal Analysis of Aerospace Structures
To address the issue of low accuracy in the dynamic modal decomposition (DMD) method used for operational modal analysis (OMA) under noise conditions of aerospace structures, an enhanced identification approach is proposed in this paper, which integrates

Deciphering Small Molecule Diffusion Parameters Across Light Responsive Polymersome Membranes
Light‐responsive polymersomes bearing donor–acceptor Stenhouse adducts (DASAs) enable programmable control over small‐molecule transport across synthetic membranes. By systematically varying DASA density, an optimal functionalization regime is identified that maximizes light‐gated permeability.

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

Cephalopod‐inspired photonic microparticles with dynamic structural coloration are fabricated via confined self‐assembly of linear block copolymers into ellipsoids containing stacked lamellae. Embedded superparamagnetic nanoparticles enable rapid magnetic alignment, restoring vivid, angle‐dependent color.

Box-splines orthogonal projections
Let $P$ be orthogonal projection on B-splines of degree $r-1$ with equally spaced knots. Sweldens and Piessens proved that $P(x^r)-x^r$ is Bernoulli polynomial. We generalize Sweldens ans Piessens's result for box-splines. It gives the opportunity to define the seminorm of Sobolev space in terms of the asymptotic formula for the error in orthogonal ...

Novel Functional Materials via 3D Printing by Vat Photopolymerization
This Perspective systematically analyzes strategies for incorporating functionalities into 3D‐printed materials via Vat Photopolymerization (VP). It explores the spectrum of achievable functionalities in recently reported novel materials—such as conductive, energy‐storing, biodegradable, stimuli‐responsive, self‐healing, shape‐memory, biomaterials, and

A robust solid‐state protein junction with a semi‐transparent eC/Au electrode allows photoexcitation of the bacterio‐rhodopsin, bR layer, to isomerize the bR retinal. The resulting photo‐response shows the protein is functional in the solid‐state junction.
