Multiple multidimensional morse wavelets [PDF]
This paper defines a set of operators that localize a radial image in space and radial frequency simultaneously. The eigenfunctions of the operator are determined and a nonseparable orthogonal set of radial wavelet functions are found. The eigenfunctions

Representation of Signals as Series of Orthogonal Functions [PDF]
This paper gives an introduction to the theory of orthogonal projection of functions or signals. Several kinds of decomposition are explored: Fourier, Fourier-Legendre, Fourier-Bessel series for 1D signals, and Spherical Harmonic series for 2D signals. We show how physical conditions and/or geometry can guide the choice of the base of functions for the

Multifrequency broadband polarized horn antenna [PDF]
A corrugated conical horn antenna is simultaneously fed a multiplicity of signals, two for each of five frequencies, with each of a pair of signals fed in each of two orthogonal planes for excitation of a desired spherical hybrid mode.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

A Rotated Quasi-Orthogonal Space-Time Block Code for Asynchronous Cooperative Diversity
The rotated quasi-orthogonal space-time block code (RQSTBC) for asynchronous cooperative diversity is proposed in this paper. The source selects half of the symbols from a signal constellation set and the other half of them from that constellation ...

Recovery of Sparse Signals Using Multiple Orthogonal Least Squares [PDF]
We study the problem of recovering sparse signals from compressed linear measurements. This problem, often referred to as sparse recovery or sparse reconstruction, has generated a great deal of interest in recent years.

The development of a position-sensitive CZT detector with orthogonal co-planar anode strips [PDF]
We report on the simulation, construction, and performance of prototype CdZnTe imaging detectors with orthogonal coplanar anode strips. These detectors employ a novel electrode geometry with non-collecting anode strips in one dimension and collecting ...

Cytarabine is a key therapy for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), but its efficacy is limited by the dNTPase SAMHD1, which hydrolyses its active metabolite. Screening nucleotide biosynthesis inhibitors revealed that IMPDH inhibitors selectively sensitise SAMHD1‐proficient AML cells to cytarabine.

A new result on recovery sparse signals using orthogonal matching pursuit
Orthogonal matching pursuit (OMP) algorithm is a classical greedy algorithm widely used in compressed sensing. In this paper, by exploiting the Wielandt inequality and some properties of orthogonal projection matrix, we obtained a new number of ...
