Quantifying the Impact of Ocrelizumab on Paramagnetic Rim Lesions in Multiple Sclerosis

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Paramagnetic rim lesions (PRLs) are a subset of chronic active multiple sclerosis (MS) lesions marked by iron‐laden microglia and macrophages. Ocrelizumab, a monoclonal antibody targeting CD20+ B cells, suppresses acute MS activity, but its effect on PRLs remains unclear. In a longitudinal study of 29 ocrelizumab‐treated patients with at least

On the difference between orthogonal matching pursuit and orthogonal least squares

open access: yes, 2007
— Greedy algorithms are often used to solve underdetermined inverse problems when the solution is constrained to be sparse, i.e. the solution is only expected to have a relatively small number of non-zero elements.

NLOS Signal Detection Based on Single Orthogonal Dual-Polarized GNSS Antenna

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2017
Nowadays users have a high demand for the accuracy of position and velocity, but errors caused by non-line-of-sight (NLOS) signals cannot be removed effectively. Since the GNSS signal is right-hand circular polarized (RHCP), the axial ratio of the strong

Planar Solid‐State Nanopores Toward Scalable Nanofluidic Integration Based on CMOS Technology

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
We present a scalable silicon‐based fabrication strategy for planar solid‐state nanopores to enable their integration with complex nanofluidic systems. Prototype devices demonstrate normal voltage‐current characteristics, good noise performance, and appreciable streaming currents. Our CMOS‐compatible fabrication process offers precise geometric control

Particle swarm optimization aided orthogonal forward regression for unified data modeling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
We propose a unified data modeling approach that is equally applicable to supervised regression and classification applications, as well as to unsupervised probability density function estimation.

Elimination of Redundancy in Orthogonal Coding Systems

open access: yesБезопасность информационных технологий, 2014
In the article, questions of formation of the new modified set of the orthogonal signals, which mathematical models is the modified set of piecewise and continuous orthogonal functions of Rademakher and Walsh, are considered.

On the Lightweight Potential of Laser Additive Manufactured NiTi Triply Periodic Minimal Sheet Lattices

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
This study explores the lightweight potential of laser additive‐manufactured NiTi triply periodic minimal surface sheet lattices. It systematically investigates the effects of relative density and unit cell size on surface quality, deformation recovery, compression behavior, and energy absorption.

Near‐Field Electrospinning Micro‐Printhead Achieves Precise Control of Nanofiber Deposition

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
A micro‐printhead for near‐field electrospinning enables reproducible deposition of polymer nanofibers with diameters below 50 nm. Systematic parameter studies uncover the mechanisms linking operating conditions to fiber morphology, paving the way for precise and low‐cost nanoscale 3D manufacturing. As a high‐resolution, cost‐effective, and rapid ...

Rafting of Ni‐Based Superalloys Under Multiaxial Load as Understood by Phase‐Field Simulations and Critical Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Phase‐field simulations coupled with dislocation‐density‐based crystal plasticity modeling reproduce γ′ rafting behavior in single‐crystal Ni‐based superalloys under varied loading conditions. The model captures both macroscopic creep and microscopic morphology evolution, with results matching high‐temperature creep experiments.
