Orthogonal Test Algorithm on TD-SCDMA Network Optimization

2011 Seventh International Conference on Computational Intelligence and Security, 2011
The Network optimization is one of the most important link during the TD-SCDMA network construction and maintenance. This paper is used orthogonal test algorithm to adjust the system constantly in order to ameliorate the operate quality of network, and improve the ability of absorbing telephone traffic.

Orthogonal exploration of the search space in evolutionary test case generation

Proceedings of the 2013 International Symposium on Software Testing and Analysis, 2013
The effectiveness of evolutionary test case generation based on Genetic Algorithms (GAs) can be seriously impacted by genetic drift, a phenomenon that inhibits the ability of such algorithms to effectively diversify the search and look for alternative potential solutions. In such cases, the search becomes dominated by a small set of similar individuals

Manufacturing Process of Packaging Products by Orthogonal Test

Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2013
For most plastic packaging products, injection molding is the most convenient, simple, widely applicable, especially for those thin, complex structure, smooth surface, and small moulds. Overdependence on experience, it is difficult to quickly design excellent products with short production cycle.

Calculating cross-orthogonality with expanded test data

AIAA Journal, 1982
Compatibility In general, math model dynamic degrees-of-freedom (DOF) will not be uniquely one-for-one with accelerometers placed upon the prototypes. Consequently, reduction of the math model will be required. If all accelerometers do not lie directly at math model DOF, this reduction will require more than one step.

Generalized orthogonal contrast tests for homogeneity of ordered means

Canadian Journal of Statistics, 1999
AbstractSeveral procedures have been proposed for testing equality of ordered means. The best‐known of these is the likelihood‐ratio test introduced by Bartholomew, which possesses generally superior power characteristics to those of its competitors. Difficulties in implementing this test have led to the development of alternative approaches, such as ...

On Dependent Tests from a Non-Orthogonal Design

Journal of the American Statistical Association, 1966
Abstract This paper illustrates, through a special case, an effect of non-independent numerators on F-test's in an analysis of variance. Symmetrical balanced incomplete block designs are considered with “blocks” a random effect and no interaction. The joint density of the adjusted sums of squares is determined under the null hypothesis of no treatment ...

PLA test pattern generation with orthogonal transform

Records of the 1993 IEEE International Workshop on Memory Testing, 2002
It is known that test pattern generation even for fixed structured realizations of digital circuits, i.e. PLAs is a NP-complete problem. With respect to the growing complexity of integrated circuits, this process has to be optimized to avoid large development and production cycles.

Test for dispersion effects from orthogonal arrays

Computational Statistics & Data Analysis, 1989
Abstract Location and dispersion effects from factors have been considered in the industrial experiments set up through orthogonal arrays for the purpose of improving industrial processes. Most procedure in the literature concentrate on identifying location effects.

Well Test Simulation using Orthogonal Collocation

SPE Middle East Oil and Gas Show and Conference, 2009
Abstract Welltesting is a flow of slightly compressible fluids in a porous media which is characterized by a set of nonlinear partial differential equations. Their solution is normally achieved analytically using Laplace transform or numerically through the use of numerical inverting methods of the Laplcace transform like Stehfest and ...

On Adaptive Testing in Orthogonal Saturated Designs

2006
Adaptive, size-a step-down tests are provided for the analysis of orthogonal saturated designs. The tests work effectively under effect sparsity, and include as special cases the individual nonadaptive tests of Berk and Picard (1991) and the simultaneous nonadaptive tests of Voss (1988).
