OTFS technology research and prospect

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2021
Recently, a new multi-carrier modulation technique termed orthogonal time frequency space (OTFS) was proposed. In the OTFS modulation, the data symbols are modulated at the delay-Doppler plane and spread on all the time-frequency resource elements with ...

Space-time OFDM with adaptive beamforming: Performance in spatially correlated channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
Space-time block coding (STBC) has proved to be an effective means of exploring diversity branches and improving system performance. In a previous work we proposed an extension to that where the STBC was combined with adaptive eigenbeamforming, an ...

Multi-user steered multi-set space-time shift-keying for millimeter-wave communications

open access: yes, 2017
The recently proposed concept of multiset space-time shift keying (MS-STSK) is intrinsically amalgamated with the multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) philosophy for the sake of enhancing the attainable system throughput.

Ultrasmall Platinum Nanoparticles for Radiation‐Enhanced Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work proposes a nanomedicine‐based strategy to enhance X‐ray radiotherapy for cancer treatment. Ultrasmall Pt‐NPs exhibit catalase‐like activity that may contribute to modulation of the tumor microenvironment and amplify interactions between radiation and biological matter, leading to increased DNA damage.

Quasi‐orthogonal space–frequency and space–time–frequency block codes with modified performance and simplified decoder

open access: yesIET Communications, 2017
Due to their superior performance and moderate computational complexity, quasi‐orthogonal space–frequency block codes (QOSFBCs) and quasi‐orthogonal space–time–frequency block codes (QOSTFBCs) are among prime candidates for implementation in multiple‐input multiple‐output communications systems.
