ABSTRACT Purpose To determine the effect of +2.50 D add multifocal soft contact lenses (MFSCLs) compared to +1.50 D add and single vision contact lenses (SVCLs) on the relationship between axial elongation and myopia progression. Methods Individual estimates of D/mm were derived from the CLEERE Study, then applied to data from 289 participants in the ...

Compensated versus uncompensated millimeters during myopia progression: Estimating H′ in children
ABSTRACT Purpose The second principal point (H′) of the eye can be used to estimate the diopters of change in refractive error that result from each millimeter of axial elongation. Calculating the location of H′ requires data from phakometry, a technique not included in most myopia control clinical trials.

Clinical evaluation of the service life of orthokeratology lenses
A total of 315 people (623 eyes) wearing orthokeratology lenses (OKLs) were examined. The condition of the eyes and OCLs was assessed dynamically. Critical levels of deposits on the OCLs were observed after 12 months in 35.0% of eyes, and scratches in 39.3%.

An Exploratory Study on the Use of Hybrid Contact Lenses for Daily Wear Orthokeratology [PDF]
Purpose: This study investigated a novel method of delivering orthokeratology through a comfortable hybrid contact lens worn in the open eye for 4 hours, and compared the effects on the cornea to conventional RGP overnight orthokeratology lens data found
