The Orthoptics of Down Syndrome
American Orthoptic Journal, 2014Patients with Down syndrome have many ocular anomalies. Most of them are treatable conditions that can strongly affect their quality of life if not addressed at an early age. It is important for clinicians to be aware of improvements in both the medical field and the educational systems in the assessment of these patients and in their treatment.
