SUPERRADIATION OF CLASSICAL OSCILLATORS AT CONSTANT PUMPING
Problems of Atomic Science and Technology, 2022The dependence of the generation efficiency in the superradiance regime of an ensemble of oscillators on the pump energy input rate, as well as on the characteristics of the change in the pump phase, is studied. It is assumed that the pumping phase can vary both in time and in space.

A CONSTANT FREQUENCY OSCILLATOR
Review of Scientific Instruments, 1930The frequency of a vacuum tube oscillator depends not only upon the constants of the oscillating circuit but also upon those of the tube itself. In a tuned plate circuit, operating with minimum coupling the influence of the tube on frequency depends only on its plate resistance, and decreases as the plate resistance is increased.

Nonlinear oscillations in a constant gravitational field
Physica Scripta, 2022Abstract Exploring non-linear oscillations is a challenging task since the related differential equations cannot be directly solved in terms of elementary functions. Thus, complicated mathematical or numerical methods are usually employed to find accurate or approximate expressions that describe the behavior of ...

Constant Frequency Oscillators*
Bell System Technical Journal, 1931The manner in which the frequency of vacuum tube oscillators depends upon the operating voltages is discussed. The theory of the dependence is derived and is shown to indicate methods of causing the frequency to be independent of the operating voltages. These methods are applied in detail to the more commonly used oscillator circuits. Experimental data

Piecewise-constant oscillators and their applications
2016The analysis of nonlinear phenomena in continuous-time dynamics is one of important topics in the field of engineering, and it has attracted many researchers in recent years. The researchers have tried to solve this problem by simplifying the nonlinear dynamics.

Quadratic Constants of the Motion for the Classical Harmonic Oscillator
American Journal of Physics, 1966The four quadratic constants of the motion for the two dimensional classical harmonic oscillator are examined. Although all four are needed for closure under the operation of Poisson bracketing, the values of three determine the trajectories. A physical meaning and a method of measurement are obtained for the fourth COM, P = q1q2+p1p2, which is found ...

Harmonic oscillator on a lattice in a constant force field and associated Bloch oscillations
Physical Review B, 1991We obtain the eigenfunctions, eigenvalues, and typical wave-packet dynamics of a ``harmonic oscillator'' defined on a lattice, when subjected to an added constant force field \ensuremath{\alpha}. The eigenfunctions of this displaced harmonic oscillator are given in terms of Mathieu functions.

Constant modulus alloys for mechanical oscillators
Metallurgical Transactions A, 1979A survey is given of the origins of constant modulus behavior in certain ferro- and antiferromagnetic alloys. All contributions to the modulus anomaly (ΔE) result from magnetic ordering. In the Fe-Ni system various influences are studied in detail; Ternary alloying elements, precipitation hardening process, cold reduction and final thermal treatment ...
