Thermal transport in Ru and W thin films is studied using steady‐state thermoreflectance, ultrafast pump–probe spectroscopy, infrared‐visible spectroscopy, and computations. Significant Lorenz number deviations reveal strong phonon contributions, reaching 45% in Ru and 62% in W.

We examine a recently published calculation which predicts an oscillatory behaviour for the decay of Lambdas produced together with a neutral kaon, and proposes a new expression for the wavelength of kaon strangeness oscillations. We modify the calculation by imposing the requirement that the interference of the K_L and K_S components of the kaon wave ...

Band Alignment in In‐Oxo Metal Porphyrin SURMOF Heterojunctions
Porphyrin core metalation in indium‑oxo SURMOFs enables systematic tuning of band edge positions without altering the crystal structure. First‑principles calculations reveal type‑I and type‑II heterostructures as well as multi‑junction energy cascades, establishing a modular strategy for exciton funneling and charge separation in optoelectronic ...

The Oscillation of an Operator [PDF]
Foia~ and Singer introduced the oscillation of a bounded linear operator mapping C(S) into a Banach space. Using this concept we define a generalization of the Fredholm operators T with YiK(T) Xbe a bounded linear operator, the oscillation of Tat a point s in S, coT(s) = wo(T, s), is the supremum over all positive a satisfying the following: for ...

This review summarizes recent experimental and theoretical progress in determining neutrino mixing angles and masses through neutrino oscillations. We describe the basic physics of oscillation phenomena in vacuum and matter, as well as the status of solar, reactor, atmospheric, and accelerator neutrino experiments that probe these phenomena.

This work presents a novel sensing platform using metallo‐dielectric cryosoret nano‐assemblies and lossless photonic crystals to overcome limitations of conventional plasmonic biosensors. The hybrid system enhances both electric and magnetic field interactions, enabling amplified fluorescence, ultralow detection limits, and prism‐free, objective‐free ...

Epitaxial piezoelectric α‐quartz/Si BioNEMS sensors, made using soft chemistry, effectively detect the Chikungunya virus. They have a mass sensitivity of 205 pg Hz−1 in liquid and can detect the virus at a limit of 9 ng mL−1. This development enables high‐frequency mass devices for point‐of‐care testing in healthcare and other electronic applications ...

Stable Cycles and Tori of a System of Three and Four Diffusive Coupled Oscillators
We consider chains of identical diffusive weakly coupled oscillation systems with different conditions on coupling on a chain bound. We suppose that every interacting oscillator undergoes Andronov–Hopf bifurcation, and the coefficient of coupling is ...

Phase oscillator model for noisy oscillators [PDF]
The Kuramoto model has become a paradigm to describe the dynamics of nonlinear oscillator under the influence of external perturbations, both deterministic and stochastic. It is based on the idea to describe the oscillator dynamics by a scalar differential equation, that defines the time evolution for the phase of the oscillator.
