A STOCHASTIC TREATMENT FOR OSCILLATORY BEHAVIOR WITH DAMPING

open access: yes, 2019
Natural processes have been taken highly attention for many years and various methods have been used to find a proper solution to the processes. Striking physical systems are adequately modelled by the Duffing equation, which describes an oscillator with various nonlinearities. Since many difficulties are encountered in numerically solving the problems

Schematic of proposed mechanism governing oscillatory motion.

open access: yes, 2014
Oscillatory behavior results from the amplification of the response toward the distant chemokine source, while inhibition of the opposite signal results in the switch-like behavior.

Asymptotic behavior and zero distribution of polynomials orthogonal with respect to Bessel functions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
We consider polynomials P_n orthogonal with respect to the weight J_? on [0,?), where J_? is the Bessel function of order ?. Asheim and Huybrechs considered these polynomials in connection with complex Gaussian quadrature for oscillatory integrals.

Emerging Post‐CMOS Hardware Neurons for Brain‐Inspired Computing: Devices, Circuits, and System Integration

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The physical realization of artificial neurons is a critical challenge for energy‐efficient neuromorphic computing. This review presents a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of artificial neuron implementations from conventional CMOS to emerging post‐CMOS technologies.

Oscillatory solutions of the Cauchy problem for linear differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2015
We consider the Cauchy problem for second and third order linear differential equations with constant complex coefficients. We describe necessary and sufficient conditions on the data for the existence of oscillatory solutions. It is known that in the

An Integrated Oxygen‐Supplying Device and Predictive Multiphysics Model for Extended Ambient Transport of Insulin‐Producing Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Cell therapies typically rely on cold‐chain logistics and cryopreservation, limiting access and compromising cell quality. Here, a dual‐chamber device separates an oxygen‐supplying chamber from a hyaluronic acid cargo chamber, sustaining oxygen delivery for over 70 h and enabling ambient‐temperature shipment.

On a theorem of W. Meyer-König and H. Tietz

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2005
Let (un) be a sequence of real numbers and let L be an additive limitable method with some property. We prove that if the classical control modulo of the oscillatory behavior of (un) belonging to some class of sequences is a Tauberian condition for L ...

Oscillation of second-order quasilinear retarded difference equations via canonical transform [PDF]

open access: yesMathematica Bohemica
We study the oscillatory behavior of the second-order quasi-linear retarded difference equation \Delta(p(n)(\Delta y(n))^\alpha)+\eta(n) y^\beta(n- k)=0 under the condition $\sum_{n=n_0}^\infty p^{-\frc1{\alpha}}(n)<\infty$ (i.e., the ...

Upcycling Keratin‐Based Textile Waste Into High‐Performance Hybrid Fibers Via Tuning the Interfacial Interactions

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Keratin recovered from animal‐hair textile waste is fractionated and blended with cellulose to produce continuously spun hybrid fibers. Selecting the high‐molecular‐weight keratin fraction enables 30 wt.% keratin incorporation while maintaining high strength in dry and wet states.

Analysis of the Distance Between Successive Generalized Zeros of First-Order Linear Difference Equations with Several Variable Delays

open access: yesMathematics
This study examines the distances between consecutive generalized zeros of first-order difference equations with several variable delays. We develop new techniques to obtain the upper bounds for these distances.
