Oscillation of generalized Riemann–Weber type differential equations with delay

open access: yesResults in Applied Mathematics
In this study, we investigate the oscillatory behavior of a generalized Riemann–Weber type differential equation, incorporating a logarithmically varying perturbation term and a time delay.

Euler type linear and half-linear differential equations and their non-oscillation in the critical oscillation case

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
This paper is devoted to the analysis of the oscillatory behavior of Euler type linear and half-linear differential equations. We focus on the so-called conditional oscillation, where there exists a borderline between oscillatory and non-oscillatory ...

Oscillatory Behavior Control in Continuous Fermentation Processes

open access: yes, 2015
The continuous fermentation processes involving yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae or bacterium Zymomonas mobilis often exhibit oscillatory behavior. Because, the oscillatory mode of operation may lead to higher or lower average ethanol concentrations, hence,

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

From Food to Power: Hydrogel Thermoelectrics for Ingestible Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We introduce a fully edible thermoelectric–electrochromic platform that harvests heat from food and converts it into a visible color change. N‐type and p‐type hydrogel thermoelectric generators connected in series power anthocyanin‐based electrochromic displays, demonstrating the feasibility of safe, biodegradable, ingestible systems for on‐food ...

Oscillation of solutions to second-order neutral differential equations

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
We study the oscillatory behavior of solutions to second-order neutral differential equations. We show that under certain conditions, all solutions are oscillatory.

Strain‐Programmable Luminescent Adhesive Patch With Tartrazine‐Mediated Optical Skin Clearing for Photochemical Tissue Bonding

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We propose a suture‐complementary approach that integrates optical skin clearing with a strain‐programmable luminescent adhesive patch. Hyaluronic acid promotes transdermal delivery of tartrazine to improve optical clearing and stabilizes its interaction with a photosensitizer. Optical clearing increases the penetration depth of visible light into skin,

Omnipolar Magnetic Field Detection by Superlattice‐Based Hall Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic‐field‐induced electronic switching is demonstrated in unit‐cell‐engineered La0.7Sr0.3MnO3–BiFeO3 superlattices. Distinct substrate terminations modify magnetic and transport properties. Hall resistance measurements show omnipolar, hysteretic anomalous Hall switching above the Curie temperature, arising from Fe─Mn interfacial exchange, enabling

Oscillatory and asymptotic behavior of solutions for second-order nonlinear integro-dynamic equations on time scales

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2014
In this article, we study the asymptotic behavior of non-oscillatory solutions of second-order integro-dynamic equations as well as the oscillatory behavior of forced second order integro-dynamic equations on time scales.

Tissue‐Stimulator Platform for Electrically Stimulating Pancreatic β‐Cells for Long‐Term Functional Regulation

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a tissue‐stimulator platform for seamless electrode integration with pancreatic tissue, applying uniform electrical stimulation through optimized design with biohybrid 3D printing. Advantageous effects of electrical stimulation on β‐cell function were observed, including enhanced calcium signaling, islet morphology, and maturation.
