The dielectric properties of clays are studied on the level of individual monolayers and functional double stacks. The material breakdown characteristics and charge storage performance are analyzed. For illustration, a defined charge pattern representing a cuneiform character is produced, written into a microscopic clay tile, referencing the origins of

In this paper, the oscillatory behavior of the solutions for a Parkinson’s disease model with discrete and distributed delays is discussed. The distributed delay terms can be changed to new functions such that the original model is equivalent to a system

Strings in Cosmological and Black Hole Backgrounds: Ring Solutions
The string equations of motion and constraints are solved for a ring shaped Ansatz in cosmological and black hole spacetimes. In FRW universes with arbitrary power behavior [$R(X^0) = a\;|X^0|^{\a}\, $], the asymptotic form of the solution is found for ...

Substrate Stress Relaxation Regulates Cell‐Mediated Assembly of Extracellular Matrix
Silicone‐based viscoelastic substrates with tunable stress relaxation reveal how matrix mechanics regulates cellular mechanosensing and cell‐mediated matrix remodelling in the stiff regime. High stress relaxation promotes assembly of fibronectin fibril‐like structures, increased nuclear localization of YAP and formation of β1 integrin‐enriched ...

Homogenization and enhancement for the G-equation
We consider the so-called G-equation, a level set Hamilton-Jacobi equation, used as a sharp interface model for flame propagation, perturbed by an oscillatory advection in a spatio-temporal periodic environment.

3D‐Printed Sulfur‐Derived Polymers With Controlled Architectures for Lithium‐Sulfur Batteries
Rheology‐guided formulation design for direct ink writing enables the fabrication of 3D sulfur copolymer cathodes with controlled architectures for lithium‐sulfur batteries. The printed electrodes exhibit multiscale porosity and high sulfur utilization, delivering enhanced electrochemical performance compared to conventional cast electrodes.

DEEP NEURAL NETWORK SOLUTIONS FOR OSCILLATORY FREDHOLM INTEGRAL EQUATIONS
We studied the use of deep neural networks (DNNs) in the numerical solution of the oscillatory Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. It is known that the solution of the equation exhibits certain oscillatory behaviors due to the oscillation of the kernel.
