Hydrogen From Simulated Seawater Using Long‐Term Stable and Cost‐Effective Plasmonic Photocatalysts
ChemSusChem, Volume 19, Issue 18, 28 September 2026.Can plasmonic photocatalysts withstand a saline environment? Yes! A conductive polyaniline shell stabilizes gold–silver nanoparticles while largely preserving charge transfer to TiO2, achieving 348 ± 108 μmol H2 g−1 h−1. Moreover, the catalyst survived 1 month of storage in simulated seawater, with almost full retention of its initial activity.
