Trust and Trade [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper presents a model demonstrating how trust affects the volume of trade in a society. There are two ways in which this happens. First, at minimum, societies need a certain level of trust in order to observe trading activity.

Steady Marginality: A Uniform Approach to Shapley Value for Games with Externalities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
The Shapley value is one of the most important solution concepts in cooperative game theory. In coalitional games without externalities, it allows to compute a unique payoff division that meets certain desirable fairness axioms.

Wave Propagation in Non‐Uniform Media by Linear Expansion of the Refraction Law

open access: yesProceedings in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, Volume 26, Issue 1, March 2026.
ABSTRACT The propagation of mechanical waves in an unbounded, non‐uniform medium can be described by using curvilinear coordinates centered at the source position. The Frenet coordinate system, with origin on a point riding a wave, is used as a basis for the curvilinear coordinates.

Using Virtual Addresses with Communication Channels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
While for single processor and SMP machines, memory is the allocatable quantity, for machines made up of large amounts of parallel computing units, each with its own local memory, the allocatable quantity is a single computing unit. Where virtual address

Comparison of the Coating Structure of Silicon‐Based PECVD Coatings With Varying Organic Content

open access: yesPlasma Processes and Polymers, Volume 23, Issue 3, March 2026.
Silicon‐based PECVD coatings transition abruptly from organic SiOCH to oxidic SiOx at ~32 at% silicon, exhibiting threshold behavior in barrier performance. Chemical composition seems to dominate over porosity: SiOx coatings unexpectedly show higher porosity yet superior barrier properties, possibly due to rigid cage‐like molecular structures ...

Declining Trends in Gastrointestinal Parasitic Infections Among Nepalese School Children: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis (2004–2022)

open access: yesPublic Health Challenges, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
This meta‐analysis of 25 studies (17,628 children) shows a substantial decline in gastrointestinal parasitic infections in Nepal from 43.4% to 24.2% between 2004 and 2022. Helminths (20.0%) remained more common than protozoa (9.9%), with slightly higher prevalence in urban (29.0%) than rural areas (27.9%). ABSTRACT Background Gastrointestinal parasitic
