Dose dependency of aliquot sizes and age models from modern alluvial fan deposits of Helan Mountain, China

open access: yesFrontiers in Earth Science, 2022
Alluvial fan deposits are identified as evidence of regional climatic variations and tectonic events; therefore, it is crucial to establish absolute time series by dating alluvial fan deposits.

The Dating and Interpretation of a Field Wall in Öggestorp

open access: yesCurrent Swedish Archaeology, 2004
The interpretation of the use and contextual meaning of fossil agrarian forms is connected with their age. In this article we discuss the dating and interpretation of a field wall in Öggestorp, situated on the northern rim of the southern Swedish ...

Quantification of termite bioturbation in a savannah ecosystem: Application of OSL dating [PDF]

open access: yesQuaternary Geochronology, 2015
Abstract Luminescence dating is one of the most promising technique available for studying bioturbation on pedological timescales. In this study, we use multi-grain and single-grain quartz OSL to quantify termite bioturbation processes ( Macrotermes natalensis ) in a savannah ecosystem in Ghana.

Studies on OSL of Quartz and Feldspar for Dating of Sediments.

open access: yesRADIOISOTOPES, 2001

Unusual Thermally Induced Blueshift and Emission Amplification of Mn2+ Ions Enable Filter‐Free Luminescent Thermal Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The shift from point‐based thermal sensing to filter‐free thermal imaging requires luminescent thermometers that exhibit pronounced and thermally driven spectral changes within spectral regions matching the sensitivity profiles of the red, green and blue (RGB) channels of a digital camera.
