Highly Stretchable, Self‐Healable, and Conductive Gelatin Methacryloyl Hydrogel for Long‐Lasting Wearable Tactile Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Gelatin methacryloyl hydrogel, which possesses high stretchability, tensile strength, toughness, and autonomous self‐healing capability at room temperature, is developed through the introduction of interpenetrating networks, hierarchical hydrogen bonds (weak and strong H‐bonds), and borate ester bonds.

Enhanced Electrical Performance and Stretchability by Plasticizer‐Facilitated PEDOT:PSS Self‐Alignment

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To advance stretchable electronics, understanding how organic plasticizers influence poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) morphology and conductivity remains crucial. A bilayer model with glycerol‐infused poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) substrates reveals that plasticizer diffusion reorganizes PEDOT and PSS, improving ...

A Human Engineered Heart Tissue‐Derived Lipotoxic Diabetic Cardiomyopathy Model Revealed Early Benefits of Empagliflozin

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study develops a human engineered heart tissue‐derived model of diabetic cardiomyopathy that accurately replicates the dynamic changes in the structural, contractile, and electrophysiological properties of the myocardium. Furthermore, this model is used to confirm the direct protective effects of empagliflozin on the heart through an SGLT2 off ...
