Geobiology of a lower Cambrian carbonate platform, Pedroche Formation, Ossa Morena Zone, Spain [PDF]
The Cambrian Pedroche Formation comprises a mixed siliciclastic–carbonate succession recording subtidal deposition on a marine platform. Carbonate carbon isotope chemostratigraphy confirms previous biostratigraphic assignment of the Pedroche Formation to the Atdabanian regional stage of Siberia, correlative to Cambrian Series 2.

Modelling of the Cala area (Ossa-Morena Zone)
The Cala project area is a region ca. 400 km 2 in size that comprises several mines and prospects hosted by Palaeozoic rocks. The Cala area is located in the southern segment of the Iberian Massif that forms the pre-Mesozoic basement in most of the Iberian Peninsula and constitutes the westernmost extent of the European Variscan orogeny. More precisely,

High strain peralkaline orthogneisses within orogenic scale shear zones: geological and structural mapping in the Arronches region (Tomar-Badajoz-Córdoba shear zone, Ossa-Morena Zone) [PDF]
The lithological units in the Arronches region (included within the Arronches tectonic unit, Tomar-Badajoz-Córdoba Shear Zone, northernmost Ossa-Morena Zone) and in particular the peralkaline orthogneisses therein, have been the target for petrological ...
