Effectiveness of a bio-resorbable apatite nano-coating SLA surface implant in type IV bone [PDF]
Most recently, a novel surface treatment of implant fixture has been introduced - a chemically modified sand-blasted, large grit, acid-etched titanium surface - to enhance bone apposition. This is a case of immediately placed modified SLA surface implant

Abstract Long head of the biceps tendon pathology is a frequent cause of anterior shoulder pain. Tenotomy is technically simple but may lead to cosmetic deformity and muscle cramping, whereas tenodesis better preserves the biceps contour but involves a more complex procedure. Multiple surgical techniques and fixation methods are available.

The effect of osteoprotegerin on implant osseointegration in ovariectomized rats
Introduction : Osteoprotegerin (OPG), the endogenous inhibitor of RANKL, prevents or reverses bone loss in a variety of preclinical models of bone disease. Preclinical studies indicate that osteoporosis significantly impairs implant fixation.

The effects of NETs on regeneration of various diabetic tissues, and strategies targeting NETs for diabetes tissue regeneration. In the diabetic environment, NETs undergo complex metabolic and immune reprogramming, leading to dynamic changes in antibacterial and proinflammatory functions, and affecting regeneration of multiple systemic tissues.

Neurovascular coupling in bone regeneration: Mechanisms, advanced biomaterials and challenges
This figure illustrates various material strategies for neurovascularized bone regeneration, including electroactive scaffolds, ion‐loaded materials, drug delivery systems, surface modifications, cells/cell products, growth factors, and peptides. These approaches aim to synergistically promote the regeneration of neural, vascular, and bone tissues ...

Perigraftitis treatment and histology: A case report
Abstract Background Currently, the two diagnoses of inflammatory peri‐implant diseases are peri‐implant mucositis and peri‐implantitis. The etiology of peri‐implant mucositis and peri‐implantitis is bacterial colonization of the implant. Thus, removal of the implant should eliminate the infection and allow the inflammation to resolve. However, at least

Deep learning-based prediction of osseointegration for dental implant using plain radiography
Background In this study, we investigated whether deep learning-based prediction of osseointegration of dental implants using plain radiography is possible. Methods Panoramic and periapical radiographs of 580 patients (1,206 dental implants) were used to
