Severe osteitis fibrosa cystica with parathyroid tumor
The American Journal of Surgery, 1944Abstract A severe case of generalized osteitis fibrosa cystica due to parathyroid adenoma is reported, the tumor being located in the superior mediastinum. The case is remarkable in that the patient's symptoms date back over a period of nearly sixteen years during which time she suffered no less than four fractures and one operation for kidney stones.

The Journal of rheumatology, 1989A patient with a multiloculated cystic lesion of the mandible, and clinical as well as biological features of hyperparathyroidism is presented. This association suggesting the diagnosis of brown tumor was actually due to an ameloblastoma of the mandible.
