Argumentation, 2017
My purpose here is to describe a type of argument characterized by the fact that one of its premises is a directive—i.e. what is expressed by a directive sentence: a general instruction how to proceed or act. This directive premise brings an ostensive mechanism for the inclusion of visual or multimodal elements in an argument.

Geometry & Graphics, 2014
Ostensibilities in geometry play a large role and are a little shined in literature. Their presence at geometry is much broader, than it actually is perceived. Work explains a status of ostensibilities in geometry and proves that geometry becomes the closed rule only taking into account its ostensibilities.

On Probatory Ostension and Inference
SSRN Electronic Journal, 2019This contribution discusses two theses on juridical evidence: the ostension thesis and the inference thesis. According to the first, the process of juridical proof typically requires some ostensive act. In this sense the evidence consists in some element susceptible of being shown, or exhibited, or indicated to someone in a given context.

ABSTRACTPeople sometimes extend invitations they don't intend to be taken seriously. We call these ostensible invitations. From a collection of spontaneous examples, we argue that they require: a pretense of sincerity by the speaker; mutual recognition of the pretense by speaker and addressee; collusion on the pretense by the addressee; ambivalence by ...
