On automorphism groups of block designs

open access: yes, 1968
This paper studies the relationship between the point orbits and block orbits for groups on automorphisms of balanced incomplete block designs. For a prime p and a group on a design with parameters v, b, r, k, λ, with t point orbits, of lengths v1, …, vt,

Determination of reinforcing bars for tests of hollow core slabs with continuity

open access: yesRevista IBRACON de Estruturas e Materiais
The structural designs of floors formed by hollow core slabs usually consider these as simply-supported slabs. In recent years there have been project changes and hollow core slabs with continuity are widely used.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
