Trisomy 5p: Long Recognized, Rarely Published‐ Three New Cases and Review of the Literature
ABSTRACT Complete trisomy 5p is a rare chromosomal disorder caused by a duplication of the short arm of chromosome 5. Current data suggest that complete trisomy 5p presents as a distinct clinical syndrome including but not limited to seizures, developmental delays, facial dysmorphisms, failure to thrive, and recurrent respiratory infections.

All patients operated for oesophageal cancer in Sweden from 2013 to April 2018 were identified, and 246 patients were recruited to this population‐based nationwide Swedish study. The results show that longitudinal health‐related quality of life after minimally invasive oesophagectomy was similar to that of the open surgical approach.

This study assesses the durability of TCRF's effectiveness and safety 3 years post‐procedure in patients with perennial allergic CR and nonallergic CR.

This study investigated postoperative complications after surgery for medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) in Europe. Hypoparathyroidism, recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy and bleeding requiring reoperation occurred in 170 (26·2 per cent), 62 (13·7 per cent) and 17 (2·6 per cent) patients respectively.
