Comparing winter distribution and harvest rates of transmitter‐marked and banded‐only mallards in western Tennessee

We compared winter distributions and harvest rates between transmitter‐marked and a banded‐only control group of mallards in western Tennessee. In general, we found that winter distributions and harvest rates were similar between the two mallard cohorts and concluded that GPS‐GSM transmitters provided reliable information on wintering mallard behaviors
