On the outage performance of SWIPT-NOMA-CRS with imperfect SIC and CSI [PDF]
In this paper, a non-orthogonal multiple access based cooperative relaying system (NOMA-CRS) is considered to increase spectral efficiency. Besides, the simultaneous wireless information and power transfer (SWIPT) is proposed for the relay in NOMA-CRS. In SWIPT-NOMA-CRS, three different energy harvesting (EH) protocols, power sharing (PS), time sharing

Distributed beamforming and power allocation for cooperative networks. [PDF]
Cooperative diversity systems rely on using relay nodes to relay copies of transmitted information to the destination such that each copy experiences different channel fading, hence increasing the diversity of the system.

Exact Outage Performance Analysis of Amplify-andforward-aware Cooperative NOMA [PDF]
In this paper, new radio access scheme that combines Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relaying protocol and non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) system is introduced. In particular, different scenarios for fixed power allocation scheme is investigated.

The 2025 Kamchatka Earthquake and Tsunami: Cascading Impacts and Risks to Japan
ABSTRACT On July 29th, 2025, a large earthquake (Mw 8.8) occurred near the Kamchatka Peninsula. This event caused a tsunami that reached Japan's Pacific coast, even though the source was far away. In this study, we analyze the characteristics of earthquakes and tsunamis and discuss how they relate to the recurrence possibility and risk in Japan.

Performance analysis for reconfigurable intelligent surface assisted downlink NOMA networks
In this paper, a reconfigurable intelligent surface (RIS) assisted downlink non‐orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) network is considered, where a base station communicates with a pair of users with the assistance of a RIS.

Full Duplex AF and DF Relaying Under Channel Estimation Errors for V2V Communications
In this paper, we investigate the outage performance of full-duplex (FD) and half-duplex (HD) vehicle to vehicle (V2V) networks. We consider two vehicular communication scenarios with the assistance of roadside unit (RSU), i.e., RSU-to-vehicle-to-vehicle

Outage performance in relay-assisted overlay cognitive radio networks [PDF]
This paper investigates outage performance under overlay spectrum mode using relay-assisted network model. Without harming the performance of the primary user (PU), secondary user (SU) makes use of a relay (R) for transmission as a supportive system ...
