Deformation of the Cooling Vessel's Shell
This paper will present the procedure for calculating the internal volume obtained by deforming the outer shell of the cooling vessel. A nonlinear finite element analysis was conducted using the Ansys software.

This work shows that the mechanical performance of multimaterial digital light processing (DLP) printed thermoset composites is governed by resin compatibility and interfacial design rather than spatial patterning alone. Brittle and ductile resin combinations produced premature interfacial failure, while graded interfaces and mechanically compatible ...

Density waves in the outer disk of spiral galaxies
Several spiral galaxies display a prominent coherent spiral structure in their gaseous outer disk. Here we argue that these observed coherent patterns can be naturally interpreted as the manifestation of the mechanism that excites grand-design spiral ...

This article presents an experimental and numerical modal investigation of composite sandwich structures using surfboards as model systems. By comparing different core materials and reinforcement strategies, the study demonstrates how local stiffeners influence vibrational response and introduce characteristic modal features, highlighting modal ...

This work studies the anisotropic behavior of circular notched tensile specimens of Ni‐base superalloy single crystals during high‐temperature tensile creep along [001], [110], and [111]. Correlative scale‐bridging imaging of specimens reveals early rupture along [110] because 1) plastic deformation proceeds faster at notch center; 2) more (brittle ...

Design and Analysis of Compression–Torsion Coupling Metamaterials Using the Golden Section Method
A novel compression–torsion metamaterial is engineered using inclined rods and symmetry breaking. To optimize its torsional performance, the golden section method is employed. The mechanical response of the metamaterial is validated through both numerical analysis and experimental validation.

Enhancing Low‐Temperature Performance of Sodium‐Ion Batteries via Anion‐Solvent Interactions
DOL is introduced into electrolytes as a co‐solvent, increasing slat solubility, ion conductivity, and the de‐solvent process, and forming an anion‐rich solvent shell due to its high interaction with anion. With the above virtues, the batteries using this electrolyte exhibit excellent cycling stability at low temperatures. Abstract Sodium‐ion batteries

The status of non-standard forms in the Outer and Expanding Circles
Over the last few decades, Outer Circle varieties have gained respect among linguists, as witnessed by the “gradual shift from exonormative to endonormative attitudes” (Bruthiaux 2003: 160).
