Nuclear mechanical properties are inherently scale‐dependent, arising from a hierarchical architecture that spans DNA, chromatin, the nuclear envelope, and condensates. Experimental techniques and theoretical models are integrated into a cohesive multiscale framework linking nanoscale structural features to organelle‐level mechanical behavior.

Optic disc shape in patients with long-lasting unilateral esotropia and exotropia
Background Horizontal eye movements have been proposed to induce biomechanical stress and strain on optic nerve head. Since strabismus may lead to sustained adduction or abduction, we investigate the effects of long lasting unilateral horizontal ...

We introduce a new membrane‐active antifungal design, Gua‐SMACS‐16, that exhibits high potency and single‐species selectivity for C. tropicalis while sparing other close species in the Candida genus. Moreover, when combining with caspofungin, a clinical antifungal drug inhibiting 1,3‐β‐glucan synthase, they exhibit ultra‐strong synergy across a panel ...

Data mining reactor fuel grab load trace data to support nuclear core condition monitoring [PDF]
A critical component of an advanced-gas cooled reactor (AGR) station is the graphite core. As a station ages, the graphite bricks that comprise the core can distort and may eventually crack.
